About Me

Hello, and welcome to Floraire.
I’m Di — the founder and maker behind everything you see here.

If you found me through social media, you may have noticed that florals are always at the heart of my designs. I love working with foils, stickers, and delicate details to build tiny garden-like worlds on each set of nails- a quiet way to celebrate my love for plants, flowers, and nature.

For those who are curious about my style, I’m a landscape designer who also loves nails, and that’s why plants and flowers have always been my greatest source of inspiration.

My story started very simply. When I was a kid, I noticed that my natural nails were extremely soft and weak- especially after touching water. They would bend and feel almost like paper. As I grew older, I began applying nail polish just to give them a little strength and protect my fingertips. Over time, I started drawing small patterns and florals on them, and my love for nail art and technique grew along with me.

As I began working as a landscape designer, my love for flowers only grew stronger. One day, I bought a collection of floral foils and started creating tiny garden worlds on my nails. After layering the designs and curing each layer of gel, my nails became strong and beautiful. What once felt like a weakness slowly became what I create today.

I spent some of the best years of my life living in the U.S.- from school to work, from Philadelphia to San Francisco. Later, I returned to China to care for my family during a very difficult time. Leaving a city and people I deeply loved wasn’t easy- I still remember the tears my friends shed on the day we said goodbye- but the experience helped me understand my life priority: my family, my friends, and the things I feel called to create.

So I decided to start my own small business, slowly, one step at a time. I learned from social media, from my customers, and from my own instincts. I followed what I love and began making designs meant to bring quiet beauty and small moments of joy.

If my little pieces of art can give you even a brief moment of wonder or happiness, then that is already more than enough for me.

I’m so glad you’re here 🙂
